1. About the App

M365 Best Practice Checker ("the App") is a tool that evaluates Microsoft 365 / Entra ID / Intune security configurations against best practices.

2. Terms of Use

By using the App, you agree to the following:

• The App is provided "AS IS" without warranty
• Assessment results are reference information and do not guarantee security
• Configuration changes are the user's responsibility

3. Free / Pro Editions

Free Edition: Evaluates all 47 rules at no cost. Limited to personal and internal assessment use.

Pro Edition: Unlocks report export, snapshot comparison, detailed data, and more. Purchase via Microsoft Store.

4. Restrictions

• Reverse engineering, decompilation, or disassembly of the App
• Redistribution, resale, or sublicensing of the App
• Using assessment results for false reporting to third parties

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App and its content (rule definitions, evaluation logic, report templates, etc.) belong to Sumikko Lab.

6. Disclaimer

Sumikko Lab shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Business impact from configuration changes based on assessment results
• Security incidents
• Data loss
• Accuracy of assessments

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

8. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated. Significant changes will be communicated on this page and within the App.
